Although our Annual Membership Meeting on May 3 was unfortunately canceled due to current guidelines on social distancing, that did not stop our Voting Membership from electing three new Board members as called for in our bylaws.
Board nominees provided their candidate speeches by video link. Ballots were returned by mail, and a group of three counters and our President Matt Grimes met at the theatre, socially distanced, to do the counting.
Votes were tallied individually, and when the tallies all agreed, we had our three new Board members.
Congratulations to Lynda Gibbs, Carmela Hofstee, and Lenny West (photos from their video speeches), who begin three-year terms on the Board of Directors on July 1, 2020.
Carmela was also subsequently elected by her fellow Board members as Parliamentarian for the 2020-21 year.
