Calling all directors! Pull-Tight Players is now accepting director submissions for our 2027-2028 season.
New directors and fresh production ideas are always welcome. If you have an interest in, and a vision for, a specific show you would like to submit for consideration, we would love to hear from you. As a resource to those who may be interested in directing but don’t necessarily have a particular show in mind, we are pleased to offer a list of suggested shows from our Play Reading Committee. These are shows the committee has specifically recommended for production at Pull-Tight next season, so we encourage prospective directors to consider them. Email Play Reading Committee chair Lenny West to request a list of these titles and perusal copies of scripts.
Complete the Director Consideration form, and if applicable, the Play Submission form. Follow all instructions and carefully read the criteria, noting important dates and deadlines on each form. Also consider any crew members you may be able to recruit to assist should you be granted a slot for your show.
The deadline for director submission is Sept. 1, 2026. All submitting directors should also plan to attend a meeting with the Pull-Tight Board of Directors on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026 at 3 p.m.
