All auditions at Pull-Tight are suspended until further notice. No MainStage productions are currently scheduled. Check this page for future audition notices when upcoming productions have been announced.
Pull-Tight encourages auditions for its MainStage productions from the general public. You do not have to be an Artist Member to audition for a show.
Auditions usually take place on two consecutive evenings to allow all who are interested to attend. You are not required to attend both evenings.
You may bring a resume and headshot to audition. The director and audition coordinator will provide a form for you to complete, including contact information, list of your previous theatre experience, and availability. There will also be a production calendar available for you to review against any personal conflicts. Calendar conflicts do not necessarily exclude your involvement.
Audition notices will provide a list of available roles and their age ranges and genders, if specified.
If you are not selected for the cast, the production crew may reach out to you to request help with a backstage role. Involvement in cast or crew for a show will count toward your annual eligibility as a Pull-Tight Artist Member.
Auditions usually include cold readings from the script. Some directors may ask you to perform a prepared monologue. You will have the opportunity to read for desired roles. But be prepared to read for any role as the director calls your name.
